I've wanted to learn to photograph a candle --- so off to the Internet. The dining table set-ups - five of them - 200 clicks, and this is the one I like best. Simple and sharp. 1/20s, f/4.8, 60 mm, ISO 160, tripod, auto balance, no flash. The key to the many candle soft glow effect is to many use tea lites bunched together, photographed close-up with spot focus. Messy because they burn too fast and the house could go up in smoke. I DID burn my sweater.

Jan 26 - Tig in a Blur
1.3s, 72mm, f/4.8, ISO 200, WB Clouds, last light of the day, tripod, CW, spot focus. This guy was shaking his head. His eyes have blue sky catch lights with the pale green contrast in the lower eye.
